Gulliver told the master of Houyhnhnms that in his country a person who had a considerable amount of money could purchase the best house, the most expensive food and drinks, finest clothes and large areas of land. He could choose the most beautiful woman.
Rich men enjoyed the fruits of the poor men's hard work. He revealed the amazing fact that the number of poor people was much greater than the rich people. The poor people lived like beggars. Their life was very hard. The poor people were slaves of the rich men.
Money was responsible for this vast difference between the rich and the poor. The master was shocked to hear all this.
