to ensure only autogamy to takeplace,
1)Bud pollination: anthers and stigmas of the same flower mature during the bud stage itself. so that only autogamy takes place.
ex: wheat, Rice
2)plants produce special type of flowers called Cleistogamous flowers.
such flowers donot open at all..so, there is no chance of cross pollination.
ex: Commelina bengalensis
