describe the part played by mazzini,cavour,and garibaldi in the italian unification?

1) Giuseppe Mazzini : he was leader of republican party. he founded a new association called young Italy. it was secret society which was formed to bring about the regeneration of Italy through education.

2)Giuseppe garibaldi : was hero of red shirts In 1860 , he marched into south Italy and kingdom of two sicilies, and succeeded in winning the support of local peasants in order to drive spanish rulers.

3) Cavour: became chief minister of piedmont in 1852. his main aim was to emancipation of Italy from Austria. he was neither Revolutionary nor a democratic country is known as real maker of Italy he succeeded in defeating the Austrian forces in 1859
