flower consists of different parts like
andrecium- this is male reproducing part and is also known as stamen. this consists of a sac on top called anther and a stick like structure called filament. anther consists of pollen grain which in turn consist of sperms
gynaecium is female reproducing part and is also known as pistil . it has three parts . style stigma and ovary
stigma receives pollen grain while style helps in paasge of male germ cells...while ovary is a sight of fertilization. it consist of ovules where double fertilization of egg takes place...
now we can see the upper layer called petals... these r colourful pigments of plant which attract insects ....while sepals and thalamus located at the bottom are for the support
