Explanation: Carbon dioxide enters through the stomata(under the leaf), then it goes through the spongy layer which contain air spaces allowing it to diffuse through the leaf easily. Then, it goes in the palisade layer, which have palisade cells. Inside the palisade cells, there are chloroplasts, where carbon dioxide is used for photosynthesis.
