Baker in those days used to came with Jhang Jhang sound made by his bamboo stick. He used to enter by saying good morning, he used to place his bamboo stick verticle and placed the huge basket of bread next to it. The author waited for those bread bangle brought by the baskines and paskines of the house. Everyday the Baker used to come twice, one was at the morning for his selling round and evening after completing his huge basket. Monthly accounts used to be maintained in the walls and the Baker used to collect the bills end of the month. The bakers those days wore a single piece long frock but during the childhood of author they wore a pant shorter than full lenght but longer than half pant. The bakers family never starved and maids of the house used to be happy. Hence baking those days used to be a very good job.
