The postmaster was a fat and amiable fellow. He was a sensible and a compassionate human being who was amazed by the depth of faith in God that is shown by Lencho. Although at first he was amused by Lencho’s letter to God, he became serious and wanted to help Lencho because he didn’t want his faith to be shaken.
The postmaster himself gave a part of his salary and also requested his employees and a few friends to contribute for charity. He felt happy and satisfied when Lencho received the money. This shows that he was a kind and empathetic person as well. He loved to help others.

The postmaster was a fat friendly and amiable fellow. he was coming and helpful to others. when he read the letter sent by lencho too good he wanted to help him he collected money e from the post office employees and from his friends he himself also contributed in it. thurs hi send 70 pesos to lencho so that his form faith in God might not be shaken the postmaster didn't show any anger when he read lencho's second letter in fact the Postmaster was a a generous and true human being he is kind and generous act of helping lencho is really heartwarming he emerges as a humorous character who is not offended by the the fact that despite helping lancho he could not win in his faith since lencho thought that the post office employees had stolen the remaining amount.
