Plants are mainly multicellular, predominantly photosynthetic eukaryotes of the kingdom Plantae. In one sense, the term refers to green plants, which form an unranked clade Viridiplantae.

The kingdom plantae includes organism who are Autotrophic in nature and multicellular organisms and are eukaryotes. And who use chlorophyll for photosynthesis .
They are divided into on the basis of whether the plant body has well differentiated , distinct components .
1. Thallophyta = plants that do not have well differentiated body design . The plants in this group ate commonly called as algae.
2. Bryophta = these are called as amphibians of plant kingdom . The plant body is commonly differentiated into stem and leaf like structures . There is no specialised tissue for conduction of water .

:-) hope this helps
