The political conditions of India in 6th century:
- India was split into several independent states during the sixth century B.C. and even North India did not have a single dominant force.
- Most of these states were monarchical, but quite a number of them had constitutions that were democratic or oligarchic. The religious texts of the Buddhist and Jaina are more detailed about them relative to the religious texts of the Hindu.
- Thus the revolutionary era started in the sixth century B.C. It gives value to the moment. That the pioneers of two major faiths of mankind resided in India. We were the leaders of Jainism and Buddhism, Mahavira, Jina and Gautama Buddha.
