In the case of Supreme Court The constitution says that the Jurisdiction of the High court shall be same as immediately before the commencement of the constitution.
Powers of High Court During Criminal cases are-
1). Original Jurisdiction- all matters relating to revenues are included in the original jurisdiction of High Court ..AND ONLY CIVIL AND CRIMINAL CASES CAN BE HANDLE UNDER ORIGINAL JURISDICTION
2). Appellate Jurisdiction-in the only lower courts can give decision for criminal and civil cases .
3). Writs - writs can be issued by Supreme Court in the case only for the enforcement of Fandamental Rights . But In this Power Of High Court to issue writs in the nature of Habeas Corpus cannot be curtailed during emergency
AND HIGH COURT CAN FRAME THE REQUIRED RULES TO CARRY OUT ITS JUDICIAL FUNCTION.
