In his youth, Ali was completely addicted to hunting, however heartless and wicked its implications. Ali was a pleasure-seeking being. He was an accomplished hunter, and killed many innocent hares and partridges. He was seemingly well-versed and had expertise in hunting. However, after the marriage of his daughter Miriam, he went under a complete transformation and gave up hunting. His heart became sensitive to omnipresent love and the pain involved in it.

Gladly! I'll just explain what I wrote in simple English.
When Ali was younger, he had a huge passion for hunting, like an addiction. Even though hunting was a cruel act of killing, he still took it up as a hobby. He found pleasure in hunting poor creatures who meant no harm. Even so, he had developed a great skill and experience in hunting and had the knowledge regarding it.
But, after his daughter Miriam got married, he slowly gave up hunting. He no longer had the passion to hunt. Throughout his wait for Miriam's letter, he sympathized with the creatures he killed, as they were separated from their families as he was. He finally understood love and how separation can hurt.

When Ali was a young man he was a skillful hunter. He had a good eye sight ,the moment he sighted a partridge the bird was in his bag. If he did not hunteveryday he felt uneasy. He couldn't do without it as an opium eater longs forhis portion.
