India is a world-known biggest democratic country. We ourselves choose our leaders. The procedure for the nomination of candidates for election is like:-

1. A political party should choose a person who will represent that party in election.

2. She/he should file her/his nomination to the returning officer of the concerned constituency.

3. The returning officer will consider her/his nomination and if the nomination is valid, the returning officer will allow him to contest,if not so her/his nomination will be rejected.

4. Then, the candidate will go for propaganda .

5. Elections will be conducted on a particular day.

6. After the polling day the polled votes will be counted and the winner will be announced by the returning officer.

Hope this answer helped you.
