Describe the procedure of taking water sample from a tube well.

Basically field water sampling is combined procedure in which all sampling equipment are cleaned and calibrated like pumping equipment, water level meter, water quality measuring equipment, sample bottles, labels and forms, and preserving containers.

Before taking any water sample from tube well, purge the well to remove any stagnant water in the well.

After six hours of purging, sample should be collected.
