Hllo friend,

ameoba captures it food by the process of endocytocis. This is process like osmosis.. That is the water molecules move from higher concentration to lower concentration through a semi permeable membrane.

Embryo takes in food with the help of psuedopodia (false feet). When it senses food, it extends psuedopodia and surrounds the food particle and finally engulfs it. Then the food is digested in food vacuole. The flexibility of cell membrane helps out to do dis. This entire process may also be called an example of ENDOCYTOSIS
