Amoeba has no mouth to ingest its food.Amoeba ingests its food with the help of psedopoudia. The process is:
When food particles comes near Amoeba, then Amoeba ingests the food particles by forming temporary finger-like projections called pseudopodia around it.The food us engulfed with a little surrounding water to form a food vacuole inside Amoeba. This food vacuole can be considered to be a temporary stomach of Amoeba.

HEY MATE!!!

■ Amoeba takes in food using temporary finger like extension of the cell surface which fuse over the food particle forming a food vacuole.

■ Inside the food vacuole, complex substances are broken down into simpler ones which then diffuse into the cytoplasm.

■ The remaining undigested material is moved to the surface of the cell and thrown out.
