Answer:

Biogas is made in a biogas digester. We call it a digester because it is a large tank filled with bacteria that eats (or digests) organic waste and gives a flammable gas, called biogas. ... Inside this tank, bacteria convert organic waste into methane gas through the process of anaerobic digestion.

Process :

➡️The biogas plant consists of concrete tank (10-15ft) in which bio waste are collected and slurry of the dung is fedded.

➡️A floating cover is placed over a slurry which keeps on raising as the gas is produced in the tank due to microbial activity.

➡️The biogas plant has as outlite which is connected to pipe to supply the biogas to nearby house.

➡️Used slurry is removed by another outlite and may used as Fertiliser.

➡️The biogas is used for cooking and lighting
