Double fertilization occures in angiospermic plants.
It is the process of fusion of male gamotophyte with female ovum or egg cell and secondary nucleus fusses with another second pollen grain to form endosperm.

the 2 pollen grains sticks on the stigma and pollen tube then theone of the 2 pollen grains ( make gametes ) fuses with embryo and develops into plant and the other fuses with fission nucleolus and forms indosperm which gives nutrients to the Embryo this is called double fertilisation
