⭐️⭐️⭐️ FERTILISATION⭐️⭐️⭐️

The sperms (male gametes) are introduced into the vagina of a female through penis, during mating. The sperms reach the fallopian tubes through the uterus. One of the sperms fuses with the ovum, in the fallopia tube. Thus, the fertilisation process to form a zygote takes place in the fallopian tube. Fertilisation actually can be defined as the fuse of the nucleus of the male gamete with female gamete. Testes is present whose function is to produce male gamete called sperm and male sex hormone called testosterone.

>>>>>>>>IN PLANTS..

---------in plants when a Pollen Grain falls on Stigma of the carpel it bursts, open and grows a pollen tube downwards through the style towards the female gamete in ovary .

••••••••••••Then it enters into the ovule in the ovary

---------------In OVARY; the male gamete of pollen tube combines with the nucleus of female gamete present in the ovule to form a fertilized egg (called zygote) and thus as we say that fertilization has taken place ..

°°°°°°°°°°thus the fusion of male and female gamete to form a zygote during sexual reproduction is called fertilization ..

****it is clear that the process of fertilization produces zygote which is actually a "fertilized ovum" of "fertilized egg".

>>>>>>>>>IN ANIMALS..

•••••••In animals the male gamete (male germ cell) call sperm fuses with the female gamete (female germ cell) called
ova and forms a single cell called zygote

°°°°°°°°The zygote grows and develops into embryo and embryo later develops into foetus and then it forms a new baby ..

NOTE :-

#######there are two different modes of fertilisation in nature#####

°°°°° INTERNAL FERTILISATION°°°°

>>>>>>>> the fertilized which takes place inside the female body ..
It occurs in in mammals, human beings, birds, reptiles etc..

°°°°°EXTERNAL FERTILISATION °°°°°

>>>>>>> the fertilization with takes place outside the female body is called as EXTERNAL FERTILISATION.

---it occurs in amphibians like frogs, toads, fishes etc

<<<<<< in external fertilization the female and male release the sperms and eggs in water fertilization takes place by collision between sperms and eggs..

>>>>>for example the males and females of frogs and fishes releasing sperms and eggs in water in which they live.

the sperms and collide with the action fertilized outside the female body of frog a fish .
