Describe the process of fertilization in human being

magdalenedinah: Fertilisation occurs when a sperm fuses with the female act during intercourse and further forms an egg that gets implanted in uterus of the female. The sperm travels through the fallopian tube and penetrates the zona pellucida layer of the ovum (female egg) and fuses with it which forms zygote (fertilized egg).

The process of fertilization involves a sperm fusing with an ovum. ... The sperm plasma then fuses with the egg's plasma membrane, triggering the sperm head to disconnect from its flagellum as the egg travels down the Fallopian tube to reach the uterus.

Answer:

A biological process in which the fusion of the male and the female gamete occurs is called fertilization. The sperms are released from the male reproductive organ called the penis. The sperm enters the female body through one of the parts of her reproductive organ called the vagina. Then the sperm travels through the fallopian tubes and meets the egg produced by the female organs. The process of fertilization takes place in fallopian tubes.
