▪Sex organs are multicellular. Male sex organ is Antheridia which produces biflagellated Antheridium. Female sex organ is flask shaped Archegonium which prduces eggs.

▪ Male and female sex organs are born on same or different thalli.

▪ Antherozoids are released on to water and reaches Archegonium for fertilization.

▪ The zygote devolops in to sporophyte which in partially parasitic on gametophyte.
