there are a number of process which cause degradation of land . Deforestation,gully erosion caused by moving water,sheet erosion,wind erosion and even slash and burn form of agriculture deter the quality of land.
We can control them by the following methods
1. reforestation
2. afforestation
3. terrace farming
4. contour ploughing.
5. By avoiding slash and burn form of agriculture
