1 Take a beaker and add about 10 g of impure sample of copper sulphate in minimum amount of water.
2 Filtrate the mixture by passing it through a filter paper
3 Start boiling it so that water gets evaporated
4 Pass the left over particles over filter paper
5 Allow the left over to dry for a day or two
6 After 1 or 2 days, We observe crystals of copper sulphate in the filter paper.

➢ Filter the solution to remove impurities.

➢ Heat the copper sulphate solution on water bath.

➢ When small crystals form on glass rods, stop heating.

➢ Allow the saturated solution to cool slowly.

➢ Crystals of pure copper sulphate are formed.

➢ Separate the copper sulphate crystals by filtration and dry.
