Acid + Base gives salt+ water
During neutralization reactions heat energy evolves out, so they are considered as exothermic reactions.

when an acid react with base then they only form salt and water is called neutralization rxn.they are considered as exothermic rxn
example- hcl+naoh gives nacl + h2o
