Describe the process of Osmosis in Isotonic solution, Hypertonic solution, Hypotonic solution along with diagram of plant cell and animal cell​

Answer:

When the cell is placed in an isotonic solution Nothin will happen.

When a cell is placed in a hypotonic solution due to endosmosis the cell will draw water inwards and the cell will buldge and become turgid .

When a cell is placed in a hypertonic solution due to exosmosis the water from the cell will flow outwards and the cell will shrink. If it is not transferred to a hypotonic solution the cell will die.

( Osmosis - process of free movement of water particles from region of higher concentration (dilute or hypotonic ) to region of lower concentration (concetrated or hypertonic ) when they are in contact with each other.
