The process of digestion starch from mouth .The mouth has salivary glands which secretes salivary amylase this breaks the starch into simpler sugar molecules. Then the moisten sugar particles travel through the oesophagus and reaches the stomach ,where no action is taken on sugar molecules. This sugar molecules than goes 8nto the small intesrine where the starch get secretion of pancreatic juices such as sucrase and lactlase, which convert the starch into sucrose and lactose. This simpler molecules are absorbed by the wall of the small intestine called villi.
