A N S W E R :
Polling day is the final stage or process of the election process when the voters, whose names are in the voters list are allowed to cast their vote in the designated school or government office, which is known as polling booth. Once the voter is inside a polling booth the polling officer identifies him & put a mark on him/her finger and allows him to cast his vote. This mark is to avoid the repeated casting of vote, example the bogus vote. Inside the polling booth the representatives of different candidates are allowed to sit to ensure that the polling takes place smoothly & in a fair manner. These representatives are known as polling agents .
We should focus on this stage :
- Voting should take place in a free & fair way.
- Voters should be identified properly.
- One agent of each candidate should be in the polling booth.
- Once the polling is over all the EUMs (End Use Monitoring) should be properly sealed & taken to secure place.
