ALLUVIAL SOIL :

Alluvial soil is the main and important soil that spreads across the river plains . They are formed by deposition of materials or sediments ( alluviam ) brought in down by rivers that consists of silts , sand clay etc. Alluvial soil which is found in the deltas of river is called deltaic alluviam . ( coastal alluviam )
