Describe the promises and change made by the newly formed multi racial government in South Africa

The Newly formed multi racial government in South Africa made the following changes:

a. It marked the end of an apartheid regime and formulated a new constitution that gave extensive rights to the people irrespective of  their creed,religion or sex or race.

b. It laid the basis of new South Africa based on the principles of equality, social justice, democratic values and human rights.

c.  It provided for a representative form of democracy where parliament as the supreme law making body will be elected by the people.

d. The multi racial government provided for the government based on the will of the people thereby honoring principles of freedom and equality.
