The relation of India with outside world in ancient times

India has a deep connection with the outside world in terms of the trade of items, navigation routes. India has been an important trading partner of the west as India exported gemstones,  perfumes, spices, and at times cotton.

Various sea and land routes took place through India such as the ancient silk route, that not only spread trade relations but also spread cultural and linguistic diversity.

India located at a strategic place was considered as valuable for the species, abundant labor, and thus attracted man outsiders form the west. And the man of them and India their permanent home.  

Many of the Indian cuisines and dishes were famous worldwide such as in turkey and central Asia.

Indian literature of the Vedas was also very popular with the Westworld the Bhagavad Gita, the Mahabhasya of Patanjali, writings of Kalidas were often studied by people.
