The peasants of that time belong to the lowest class .They cultivated the lands in russia but the nobles , crown and church owned large property.Peasants needed food and money but they were not having their own land that's why they needed the nobles land to cultivate but peasants refused to pay the rent for the land and they even murdered landlords.
