⍾The Ribcage is a structure of thin, flat, curved bones that form a protective cage for the internal organs of upper ⍾body and protects lungs and heart.

This Ribcage consists of twelve pairs of ribs that curve around from the back of our body towards the front.

⍾Each Pair of ribs is attached to the backbone at the back. In Front, the ribs are connected to the breastbone called sternum.

⍾The Lowest two pairs are not connected to the breastbone and thus called Floating Ribs.
