2. The members of the commission fancied everyone to have equal access for the basic goods. Robespierre was the leader of the Jacobin club was the leader of this committee. The Jacobin club followed absolute egalitarianism and cruelty and served the Revolutionary government in France. As a result, France witnessed the mass slaughter and public violence.
3. Finally, Napoleon Bonaparte (the First Consul and the later emperor of France), put an end to this situation and the Republic. Although France had a constitution Napoleon ruled as a despot.
