the day was about to come up when mrs bunting was awakened by a sound.she heard the sounds of footsteps.she made sure that a burglar was at work before waking her husband up.they went down  and heard someone searching in the studyroom.they could see the open drawers and lit candles and also heard the clink of money.they rushed into the room.but there was no one to be seen.at that moment there was a sneeze in the passage.mr bunting ran towards the way but they could see no one.he heard the kitchen door being opened.there was not a soul in the house.
