Computers, coupled with Broadband connectivity and the Internet, is today the major source of news and information. A person may not read a conventional newspaper or watch a cricket match on television or even go to a movie hall to see a film, as all of these and more are available to him on the Computer, with a few clicks of buttons.
My visit to a local Cyber Cafe was quite interesting. It was thronged by students and other young people. The students were busy downloading matter and taking printouts, after researching on various subjects by surfing the internet. This is the scenario all over the country and is even being replicated by educational institutions, where students study in the library with the help of the internet.
