Earth's centrifugal force acts opposite to the centripetal force of the earth. Centrifugal force tries to force the earth or earth's metarials out of its orbital. Thus it also tries to force the water bodies on earth out of the earth. Thus with the joint action of centrifugal force of earth, gravitational pull of moon as also sun tide occurs.
