our atmosphere is consisted of suitable amount of suitable gases which trap and release the heat at the right time.
water also plays an important part as none can survive without water.
if the temperature of the earth rises everything would melt, and if it decrease everything would freeze

atmosphere act as a blanket preventing us from the harmful ultraviolet rays of the sun and retain the heat radiated from the Earth surface

whereas

Earth is the only planet where there is more than twice as much water 71% as Land 29 percent the distribution of land and water is uneven in the Northern hemisphere the area of land and water are nearly equal where is South America there is nearly fifteen times as much water as Land

and

Temperature plays a major role in making our earth our Habitat will planet at the earth is the third planet from the sun it has a average temperature of 17 degrees celsius which is suitable for life to exist other planets of the solar system are either too hot or too cold to support life
