Ho chi Minh was the leader of the freedom struggle for Vietnam. He formed a people's army called vietminh to fight with foreign and colonial powers. 1) with the help of Ho Chi Minh, NLF(national liberation Force) fought for the unification of the country.

He was the most important leader during the Vietnam's struggle for Independence. - He helped many military actions against Japanese army which occupied Vietna during World War II
