Warm winter evening- It was warm inside the house. There was a big, orange fire burning in the fireplace. The windows were covered in snow as the ground was covered in a blanket of white. The trees swayed as a gentle breeze worked its way through them. Inside there was a faint smell of cinnamon in the air. The sun was steadily setting behind the trees, as animals scrambled to their little homes. You could picture the animals going back to their homes and greeting their families. It was a sweet thought as more wood was added to the fireplace. As the sun finally set, the timer went off signaling that the cookies were done. The warm air filled the room as the sweet scent of chocolate covered the entire house. It was a nice, warm, night to relax and rewind for the first time in a while. There weren't many nights like these anymore, so when they came you had to enjoy it.
