It was a hot day but people were still minding their business in the street. The food street was full of hawkers and carts. People were putting shades over them, having water bottles with them and a wet towel on their heads. every one was sweating and the faces were showing the miserable feeling of warmth. every one was having a short temper. but still they are doing this to feed their families

In a vast capital city like Kuala Lumpur, there are a few occupied boulevards, yet the busiest of all is Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. From early morning, traffic begins developing. Hordes of people on foot, customers and others can be seen strolling along the asphalts outside the shops or attempting to cross the street.

The commotion of vehicles and taxicabs hooting, or of bikes, flying past is stunning.  The general population, basically woman with kids, line the road as they anticipate a chance to cross the street. It is a splendid and gay scene. The primary fascination is the assortment of material shops, departmental stores, the Selangor Emporium, cover shops, eateries, gem dealers or electrical merchandise shops, asphalt slows down with little things like outfit adornments, toys and aluminum cooking utensils and sellers pulling in clients to purchase their products.

In the hustle and clamor, one can appreciate the delectable fragrance of Oriental treats drifting noticeable all around. It originates from 'Nasi Beriyani', 'Satay', pungent curries, seared chicken and sweet meats, enticing passers-by to stop for some refreshment.
