well,the Gaddi shepherd is actually a group of people who are nomadic.They are basically from the Himachal pradesh.They did the movement according to the seasonal variation.In the winter they go to watch the base and stay in sivaliks in order to provide pasture to their animals which there on the onset of Summer in the month of April they go upward in the Himalayas At the snow of that area melts and mountains become lush greens.Hence here the pasture for animal become availabla.
