Describe the sequence of events which occur in the cardiac cycle in humans. Where and how are the sounds lubb and dubb produced in the heart during this cycle ?

Cardiac cycle in case of Humans:

The cardiac cycle is the performance of the human heart from the ending of one heartbeat to the beginning of the next. It consists of two periods: one during which the heart muscle relaxes and refills with blood, called diastole, following a period of robust contraction and pumping of blood, dubbed systole. (systole means contraction and diastole means relaxation of muscles).

Explanation:

Cardiac cycle = no. of heart beat / minute

i.e. 72 beats per 60 sec, which means one cardiac cycle needs 0.8 sec  time.
