Decentralisation helps in solving a large number of problems and issues at the local level.
Decentralization can be viewed as an extension of delegation. When a part of the work is entrusted to others, it is known as delegation. Decentralization extends to the lowest levels of the organization. In simple words decentralization is concerned with decentralization of decision-making authority to the lowest levels in either political system or managerial hierarchy
Necessity and significance:-It reduces the burden on top executives and relieves them of performing various functions.
