•They gave up their nomadic life,settled as traders and farmers.
•Little forage for animals resulted perishing of cattle due to famines and other calamities.
•The colonial govt. ruined the life of pastorals as they were prevented entry into forests.
•Forest acts also added to their problems as they denied their traditional rights of entering the forests whenever and however they liked.Fines were put on to stop these people from entering the forests.
