The policies adopted by Hitler were the following:

(i) Suspension of Civil Rights: This policy gave all the power to the central government. This created injustice in the society. 
(ii) Concentration Camps: Hitler murdered several communists and Jews in the concentration camps. The Holocaust was a result of this.
(iii) Banned Political Parties and Trade Unions: Hitler banned political parties and trade unions to end communist sentiments in the country which led to resentment within the people.
(iv) Enabling Act: Hitler had the power to end the democratic and judicial system under this act. This led to a dictatorship
(v) Surveillance and Security Forces: This was a crackdown against the communists in the country. This led to the stronghold of the German government.
