The condition of France was verry poor before the revolution took place as the population was divided on the basses of estates . the diffrent divisions were - 1)the clergy - they enjoyed the privilege by birth and did not give the taxes .2)nobility - they also enjoyed birth privileges as well as fudal privileges , they also didn't have to pay taxes.3) the third estate (the regular man) - they composed nearly 80% of the population and gave all the taxes .
