The socio-political situation of central development region of Nepal:

1.The Central Development Region was one of Nepal's five development regions. 

2.It was located in the east-central part of the country consisting the capital city Kathmandu, along with its headquarters at Hetauda.

3.The Central Development Region consists of 3 zones and 19 districts. Kathmandu is its regional headquarters. 

4.The area of Central Development Region is 27,410 square kilometer. Central Development Region is more developed than the others.

5.It comprised three zones:

      (a)Bagmati
      (b)Narayani
      (c)Janakpur
