all people boycott the foreign goods. women stop wearing bangles. washermen stop washing foreign clothes. priest stop using sugar to serve God which was prepared by BRITISH. finally people didn't use foreign goods.

1. Baba Ramchandra led in awadh campesinos.

The movement here was against talukdars and landlords, who demanded exorbitantly high rents from the peasants and a number of other cesses.

2. Peasants had to make begar and work without payment at landlords farms.

They had no tenure security as tenants and were expelled regularly so that they had no right over the leased land.

3. The peasant movement demanded income reduction, begar abolition, and oppressive landlords' social boycott.
