Actually in non cooperation movement which was led by mahatma gandhi, was to oppose the foreign goods. In his famous book,HIND SWARAJ (1909) gandhiji declared that the british rule was established in india with the cooperation of Indians among the britishers. so the people started to boycott the british or foreign good. People begin boycotting civil services, army police, courts and legislative councils, schools and foreign goods. But their was a problem that if they will use only indian clothing, then it would be many expensive . Indian clothing contained KHADI which is very expensive and poor people could not afford it and they could not make their children illiterate by not sending schools, etc so because of these problems, this movement came to an end. I'm sry if this was too long
