3rd Stage: Then, in case the government used repression, a full civil disobedience campaign would be launched.

The Non-Cooperation Movement was an important but short-term period of the Indian independence campaign from British control. It was commenced by Mahatma Gandhi after the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre and endured from 1920 to February 1922. It proposed to continue British rule in India by the means of non-violence.
