Answer:

*glomerular filtration* nitrogenous waste glucose water animal essay letter from the blood into Bowman capsule

*tubular reabsorption* now useful substance from the filtrate are reabsorbed back by capillary surrounding the nephron

*secretion* urea extra water and salt are secreted into tubule which open up into the collecting duct and then into the ureter

Answer:

There are 3 steps in urine production- Filtration, Reabsorption and Secretion.

Explanation:

Filtration- As blood is pushed through the tiny capillaries, the high pressure forces some things to pass through the capillary wall. The walls act as a sieve or a filter. Hence,it is called Filtration.

Reabsorption- The filtrate enter the kidney in the proximal tubule. This region on the kidney is special because many things can be removed from the filtrate. The valuable things are reabsorbed by the body.

Secretion- The filtrate then passes through a really neat structure called the Loop of Henle where it gains and loses water and salt. As it leaves the Loop of Henle, it enters the distal tubule, where secretion occurs.
